"The Moment of Truth" or the Simpson-Bowles Report by the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, Circa 2010
Welcome to Enact the Plan, a citizen awareness campaign to educate voters on the Simpson-Bowles Plan, otherwise known as the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. This website serves as a call to action in helping our country address its current economic dilemma. Congress: Reps. Jim Cooper (D-Tenn.) and Steven LaTourette (R-Ohio), Reps. Charlie Bass (R-N.H.), Tom Reed (R-N.Y.), Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.), Mike Quigley (D-Ill.), Bob Dold (R-Ill.), Jim Costa (D-Calif.) and Daniel Lipinski (D-Ill.) are also part of the group pushing the Simpson-Bowles plan.
The first “Enact the Plan” speech was presented by Tim Pagliara at the Brentwood Country Club in Brentwood, TN, on February 24, 2012. You can find a full copy of his speech and presentation here.

Pagliara met with Senator Bob Corker's team on March 12th. During Senator Corker's remarks that night, he spoke of Pagliara and the Enact the Plan's efforts and hinted that it needed to be reduced to the principles of legislation.
